This case fits my Samsung HZ25W snugly and has room for the power/computer cable, if you choose to do so. I bought this primary for protection while touring/hiking and if you plan to take the camera in and out for frequent shooting, I wouldn't recommend putting anything in the case besides the camera because the other items may fall out. There is no secure compartment for accessories. The workmanship and materials seem sturdy enough.

I like the protective lining. The camera fits very comfortably inside. However, I really miss not having a strap to use to carry it around.

It's hard to find a simple streamlined case for small squarish cameras and this is perfect. I have a Canon A710 that I always keep a lens adapter tube on but which makes it a chunky camera too large for most small camera cases. I needed something that would protect the camera while throwing it in a backpack or tote bag so I didn't need a belt loop or attached shoulder/neck strap. This fit the bill exactly. The padding is not too thick but there's just enough of it to protect the camera. The only way it could be better is if it had a zipper closure, but the velcro seems secure enough.



Gigabargain is the Amazon vendor I purchased this from. They shipped it quickly and also sent a tracking number. The price was great too -- just under 5 bucks including shipping. It truly is a great bargain! I'm very happy with this purchase.

For $4.00 what do you expect? It is good for keeping your camera for travel & from dust. It doesn't come with a strap but the camera strap works fine. So why spend more when this serves its purpose.

I purchased this camera off of a referral of a friend. Is very light weight, takes great pictures, so far. Only trouble I have had is some focusing issues but I think that is more the operator than the camera. I'm even thinking about buying one as a Christmas present for my son and his wife this year.

I purchased this camera and accessories a few weeks after Chrismas and absolutely love it!! I have a four year old and 3 month old and love taking great pictures but am not caught up in playing around with all the settings manually, nor do I have the time. This camera has a great choice of scene settings, my favorites being backlight and close up. The action feature is wonderful, too. I can't believe how many pictures it will take in just a few seconds.

Battery life lasts pretty long, but it is nice to have the back-up battery, just in case.

The zoom is amazing!

As I mentioned the close up feature is really great, but you have to have patience as it takes the time to focus and then needs a very steady hand. But the results are beautiful.

The Nikon software that comes with it to download pictures works super fast, too.

The menus on the camera are easy to follow and don't take alot of guesswork.

I would highly recommend this camera to anyone. Also the service at Cameta Camera was great, too!

I have had this camera for about a year and have taken more than 3000 shots with it. The only thing that I have trouble with is when useing for close up work it does not always want to focus, but if you zoom out then back in you can usually get it to focus on what you want. The file sizes are large enough that you can crop and still keep it at a large enough size to get nice sized prints (4x6, 5x9, never tried getting 8x10's). Awesome for those that enjoy taking photos, may not satisfy those that are looking to sell. I have never been disappointed with image quality. I bought a Canon Rebel XSI (SLR) to replace it but when I used it I was VERY disappointed in what I got and went back to my Nikon.

I'm definitely a novice. There's a lot I need to learn in order to be able to take better photos, but this camera is easy to use. I can take pretty good pictures with it...just pointing and shooting. I haven't learned a lot about the settings yet, but I'm sure that when I do, my photos will be even better! So far, I have captured some really great photos of my kids and of the mountain scenery here where I live! The camera is fun to use, and I figure I will just keep experimenting with it to see what works for me! I cannot believe Nikon has discontinued this camera! The Nikon Coolpix P80 is easily portable. I carry it in a large padded camera bag that will hold other accessories and other "non-camera" things that I need to carry with me. It could easily be carried in a much smaller bag with all the things that you need just for the camera...extra batteries, extra memory cards, etc. It's very light weight and easy to use. It's the kind of camera that makes a novice want to learn more about taking really good photos!

This camera is the best camera that I have ever had. Yes, there probably are better cameras, but I have never experienced them and this camera works just the way I need it to. This lightweight camera has amazing features and takes the best pictures. My favorite feature on the camera is the rapid action shot. On the dial wheel, you can find it by locating the picture of a runner running. That feature is really good when you need to take pictures of children running and playing around or, my favorite, when you take fireworks. I have gotten some really good shots of fireworks at just the right moment. Shots that would not have been possible if I have not had this shot. All in all, I definitely recommend that you get this camera for all of your photography needs. This lightweight, attractive, reasonably cheap camera is the perfect camera for you!
